Quantity Surveyor

Fantastic opportunity to join a family run business based in Redditch Your new company Fantastic opportunity to join a well established specialist contractor based in Redditch who specialise in construction, asbestos removal and demolition. They have been going for over 30 years and pride themselves on the culture and ethos within the business. They are looking for an intermediate quantity surveyor from a build or interior fit out background who is looking to develop their skillset within a positive environment. What you need to succeed To succeed within this business, you will need to be experienced enough to work independently on various QS tasks, and able to work closely with Contracts managers, project co-ordinators and site managers. You will be producing DBL valuations and submissions to clients whilst also completing assessments of subcontract valuations and invoices. Another aspect of the role will be assisting with subcontractor procurement and pricing variations for ongoing projects. One of your other responsibilities will be to assist with the production of tenders and submitting them to clients. There will possibly be some small-scale project management on small projects. The aim of this role is for the intermediate QS to grow in experience and eventually develop their career to Senior QS level.
