Senior Project Manager - Capital Work- Public Sector Organisation - Outside IR35 - £competitive rate Your new company On behalf of our client, a public sector organisation in South London, Hays Property & Surveying are currently seeking an experienced Client Side Project Manager. You'll be based in their office located in South London, very close to the train station. Your new role The Project Manager role in the Programme & Project Management Section is responsible to act as a client side project manager, fulfilling the duties of the Contract Administer under the suite of JCT contracts. You'll cover all capital projects and improvement programmes from commencement to completion and ensure that they are completed to the highest possible standards, within programme and allocated budget. You'll be working on range of projects from Housing to Education with values up to £10M, and you will be responsible for appointing and leading a team of professional consultants. You'll report on all relevant issues such as financial standing and reconciliation of projects, feeding into the programme board and working collaboratively with a wider team of partners. Finally, you'll co-ordinate and assist with the CYPLS Capital Programme, along with the schools asset management plan and other education priorities. What you'll need to succeed Extensive experience in project management and or programme management. Previous experience working in a local authority is highly desirable RICS or RIBA qualification as well as 10 years PQE.
