Senior Fire Engineer job, £48-60k, London, Global MEP consultancy, major London commercial projects Your new company This international specialist building services consultancy is known for its exceptional technical ability, attracting high-profile clients with large and complex projects. Offering a full range of building services design and consultancy services including fire engineering and fire protection, M&E design, sustainability, and built asset performance. Projects are across sectors and building types, with recent work in high-profile workplaces, high-rise towers, data-centres, and industrial facilities. Working out of a modern and well-located office in the heart of central London staffed with 60 specialists. Your new role You will join a small and highly productive team of fire engineers in London, who are part of a wider network of specialists across the group. Your work will involve all aspects of fire engineering and consultancy services, including fire strategies and CFD modelling, evacuation modelling, and fire safety and risk assessments. You will also support the work of fire protection engineers in your team. Your role will see you regularly working in front of clients and taking mentoring responsibility for junior fire engineers. What you'll need to succeed You will have experience of fire engineering from a consultancy environment or similar. You will have a relevant qualification in engineering, and be Chartered or interested in gaining Chartered status. You will have exceptional client facing skills and be able to represent a leading brand. If your previous role did not involve regular client interaction you will be supported in gaining this skill. To achieve the upper range of the salary advertised you will be a highly experienced and competent fire engineer with a demonstrable track record of working on complex projects. The lower end of the salary range will be offered to an enthusiastic fire engineer who is stepping into their first senior title.
