Overview
Our client, a specialist supplier of infrastructure products within the rail industry is seeking to employ an Infrastructure Support Engineer to be based from their Doncaster office working within their existing team. You will be responsible for providing technical information regarding infrastructure products to railway clients throughout the UK (typical clients being Network Rail and Principal contractors operating on the rail infrastructure). You will act as a knowledge bank regarding the products and their uses and capabilities and as such it is essential that you have a thorough understanding of the railway infrastructure and specifically the aspects of maintaining it and construction within it. Candidates will ideally be qualified in a related field, with a good understanding of Signalling, Track, Overhead Line and civil engineering (it is not expected that you are an expert in all areas, but that you have a good grounding of multi disciplinary works within this sector).
