Overview
SF Recruitment are currently working with a growing SME business based in Wolverhampton to recruit for an Interim Management Accountant on an ongoing basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be required to provide business support and data analysis and work with senior stakeholders within the Finance Team and the rest of the business. Your key responsibilities will include; - Preparation of monthly management accounts from underlying operational and commercial information - Working in partnership with Operational and Commercial teams - Ownership of the Balance Sheet and escalation of issues to the Head of Finance as appropriate - Fulfilling monthly and quarterly reporting requirements - Responsibility for producing accurate cash flow forecasts, monthly forecasts and annual budget - Liaising with Internal & External auditors - Management and oversight of the integrity of cash management - Driver of continuous improvement ensuring a robust control environment - Systems management and business process review and improvement - Provision of adhoc financial analysis as required You must be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACMA or equivalent) with experience working in a similar role within an SME environment. A "roll your sleeves up" attitude is imperative for this role as the business grows and goes through a period of change. An immediate start is required so only candidates available at short notice (1 week max) can be considered. A longer term role may be available for the perfect candidate.
