Overview
Leading business require an Accountant, ideally from a professional services background We are looking for an Accountant to work within this department. This role will require somebody committed to a high standard of work. Duties & Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the role are varied and will include: Preparation of monthly KPI figures for the bank/partners Preparing annual management/practice packs for the board Quarterly reporting to department heads of their KPI’s & assisting them in producing departmental budgets Submitting HMRC correspondence (EC Sales List / Intermediary Report) and National Statistics Analysis of various expense headings Producing monthly/quarterly service and labour invoices Annual WIP valuation and bad debt Other ad hoc duties in line with the role The Candidate: The successful candidate should possess at least 3 years’ experience within an accounting role. They should also demonstrate the following qualities: Excellent attention to detail Strong numeric and analytical skills Strong problem solving skills An advanced level ability with Microsoft Excel and pivot tables, along with being a strong general IT user Able to work well under pressure The ability to work in a team environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified accountant or possibly qualified by experience.
