Overview

Backend Developer (Node.JS) / Node.JS Developer (Backend) Warrington £30k-£45k DOE Backend Developer (Node.JS) / Node.JS Developer (Backend) Key Skills Experience in Web Technologies / Strong proficiency with JavaScript Knowledge of Node packages and frameworks available for it (particularly AdonisJS) Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming / RESTful APIs Basic understanding of frontend technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JS, jQuery Experience using databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB As Backend Developer (Node.JS) / Node.JS Developer (Backend), your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, working with the Database team to define the data structures and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Backend Developer (Node.JS) / Node.JS Developer (Backend) Desirable Skills / Experience / Responsibilities: Collaborating with Software Engineering teams, QA teams and Project Managers in an Agile environment NodeJS, AdonisJS, Redis Understanding of modern frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular Jira & Confluence Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic Writing reusable, testable and efficient code Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability and performant applications Implementation of security and data protection / Integration of data storage solutions
