We are looking for caring and dedicated Support Workers living close to the Ashford area of Kent. We have roles in the surrounding towns and villages on the south coast of Kent including Maidstone, Hythe, Westwell Leacon, Bearsted, Stanford North, Kingston, St Marys Bay and Sellindge. Who will you be working for? Although not essential, experience in a similar position, or working with people with learning/physical disabilities or mental health conditions is desirable. It is also a benefit if you have a full driving license and access to a vehicle, but again, not essential. Your role will be key in encouraging their independence, boosting their self-confidence, providing hands on care, assisting them out in the community and helping them achieve a positive future. As a valued Support Worker, you will be part of a residential home that provides personal care and support for multiple service users. The home has a safe and homely feel and they help the residents take positive steps towards reaching their goals and their daily living skills. Hours & Benefits Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, day or night shifts available Permanent contracts. £8.50 - £9.00 per hour. Free training to achieve further qualifications in Social Care.
