Job Title: Support Worker - Full Time (35 hours per week) & Part Time (up to 28 hours per week) Location: Dewsbury, West Yorkshire Shifts: Working on a rota basis between Monday - Sunday; 7:00am - 2:00pm & 2:00pm - 9:00pm Pay Rate: £8.20 - £8.72 per hour Role Overview: Fennell Court is a purpose built home and we provide intensive support services. Our home is made up of eight separate apartments where we support individuals with learning disabilities who may also have mental health needs or challenging behaviour. Our aim is for our residents to gain independence in all aspects of their lives, be happy and feel valued and secure. We hold regular meetings where everyone can discuss their views on how the service is run. We have a good relationship with the wider community including our neighbours. Some individuals have chosen to help out local pensioners by walking dogs and gardening, and others volunteer at charity shops. Several people are undertaking college courses in a range of subjects, including travel and tourism and physical education. Requirements: Support Workers in this location will need to hold a Full UK Driving Licence , experience is preferred but not essential as all of our staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support.
