Overview
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for experienced support workers to join our growing team in the Dewsbury and surrounding areas. We are working with market leading care organisations based in Dewsbury and the wider Kirklees area. Our clients support adults with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviours and complex needs in residential homes and hospital settings. To find out more about this role, please call Fiaza Boota on . What we will provide for you: £8.50 - £12 per hour Time and a half on bank holidays. Receive person centered support from dedicated and helpful consultants who are available 24/7 Build your skills by working with a large variety of care environments including supported living services, residential homes, care homes, specialist schools and colleges. Work around your own personal commitments with the opportunity to work as little or as much as you want. Flexible hours that include long days, early shifts and late shifts. Receive free practical and specialised training including MAPA, epilepsy and buccal midazolam. Opportunity to go permanent with any of our clients Paid holidays and weekly pay. What we require: Dedicated support workers with a minimum of 6 months of experience. Someone who is caring, compassionate and committed to making a positive impact on the service users' lives. A person who has a positive outlook on life and a can do attitude. Someone who is willing to go the extra mile for the service users. It is preferable for you to be a driver with access to your own vehicle. What you will be doing on a daily basis: Following care plans to ensure that the service user is being supported in the best possible way. Following service policies and procedures. Supporting the service users in the service and out in the community. Creating and developing meaningful lasting relationships with the service users helping them to build their confidence. Promoting the service users' dignity and helping them to achieve their focused goals. Acting as an ambassador for Sugarman Health and Wellbeing and reflecting our values.
