Overview
SYNLAB provides a wide range of testing capabilities from workplace drug and alcohol testing, food testing, oil and fuel testing, veterinary testing and advanced pathology services through to the most innovative molecular and genetic diagnostic tests available today. SYNLAB work closely with clinicians, hospitals, occupational health providers and clinical researchers to provide a complete pathology offering. We are looking a successful and energetic Business Development Manager to join the team. The role is home - based and its main duties include: Manage the development and effective execution of the business development plan, with the Business Development Director (BDD), to ensure the development of sustainable, innovative, competitive and profitable new business offerings. Support the development and effective execution of sustainable, innovative, competitive and profitable solutions generating revenue to support the core business. Coordinate and administrate business development metrics (e.g. sales pipeline and tender opportunities). Develop tender submissions/proposals and bid management processes across the SYNLAB Hospital Sector. Provide specific business development expertise to SYNLAB’s NHS partnerships to ensure continued excellence in customer experience, retention and growth. Bid Management Manage tender submissions/proposals, including bid writing and document management, for public and private sector tenders. Design solutions and develop commercial content for tenders to target prospects as well as current clients; Desired Skills and Experience Demonstrable track record of managing business development initiatives within the healthcare market. Service development/process redesign experience. Ability to support and coordinate the end-to-end bid process for new and retained business. Sound knowledge of the healthcare sector, including sound knowledge of public sector tendering and commissioning procedures. Exceptional on-going client relationship management skills including an established personal external network. Exceptional client relationship management skills and proven experience of developing profitable relationships with client. Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills.
