Transport Administrator

Busy and varied permanent transport admin role for company in Warrington paying £19-£20k per annum plus bens Your new company You will be working for a large well established business that supplies a variety of products into the construction sector. Your new role You will be working as part of a small dedicated sales support team where you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative functions in relation to the transport and delivery of the companies products to their customers. On a daily basis you will be liaising with hauliers to arrange transport, building relationships with the hauliers to ensure excellent rates and service, inputting orders onto relevant transport portals, checking pick information against purchase orders, arranging returns for customers and sorting all the required paperwork, processing claims with hauliers for lost / damaged stock and other related duties. The role is exceptionally fast paced with ever changing priorities but the team work exceptionally well together to support each other and ensure everything is completed on time What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role you will need to have recent relevant experience either within a transport company or within the transport / logistics department or an organisation. You will need to be a confident communicator who can build relationships and build relationships over the phone, you will need to be able to manage a busy workload and be able to prioritise tasks and continually re-prioritise as the day goes on. You will need to have strong IT skills and due to the location of the client, will need to drive What you'll get in return This role offers an annual salary of £19,000 - £20,000, 25 days holiday plus the bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme and a share scheme as well as an annual bonus.
