Overview
Armstrong Knight are currently working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants and Buisness Advisors who are now looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join their friendly and positive team. The ideal candidate would be self motivated, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude. This role will be arund 90% audit and 10% accounts assignments as allocated by the Audit Manager. You will bbe involved in all aspects of the assignments from planning to preparing a high quality completed file. Some of your duties will also include the preparation of audit assigment papers and budget, ensuring jobs are completed on time, contacting clients to arrange the timing of the assignments, preparation of corporation Tax or Income Tax computations, managing the team whilst out on site etc. What skills are required for this role? Candidates will be ACA/ACCA qualified with good techincal competence including strong audit experience. You would hold experience of working within a Mid Tier Practice and be a car owner (due to location of client base) Good knowledge of UK GAAP accounting standards and highly IT literate, if you have experience of SAGE and Caseware this would be and advantage.
