C# Core Developer - .NET Core - Prop Trading - City - up to £120k Bonus Successful Prop Trading client based in the City are looking to hire a talented C# Developer to join their elite, flat structured Core Tech team which is mainly responsible for middleware and back-end services as well as developing full stack solutions including web based front-end. You will be designing, building and running the Core Platforms and its architecture including the applications, services and libraries on which the whole business depends upon. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality of coding who is able to work on fast-paced projects which have direct impact on the client's trading activities. The client has a transparent culture where contributions within their flat structured, meritocratic tech team is highly visible and well rewarded. Responsibilities: Design and develop strong solutions to support business functions with a focus on testability, maintainability, performance and resilience Craft great code and tests, with automation being key Analyse,capture and communicate your design decisions within the team and across the business including interacting with stakeholders, SREs and infrastructure engineers. Essential: Excellent C# skills with experience in .NET Core, CI/CD, containerization (Docker / K8s) including strong focus on testing processes Strong analytical and system design skills Personable, able to work in small teams and collaborate with colleagues (good sense of humour a big plus) Excellent academics (Minimum 2.1 degree in Computer Science or technical discipline) Desired: Modern Front-End UI development experience, in particular React and TypeScript Event driven design, DDD, CQRS and/or EventSourcing experience Familiarity with testing frameworks (NUnit, MSpec, SpecFlow, Mocha, mocking frameworks) Knowledge of financial markets & securities (particularly equities, futures & options) If you are interested and would like to find out more then please apply now for more information.
