BI Analyst/Developer (Business Analyst - Management Information Systems) - £45k bonus benefits Due to their ambition to extend their analytics and reporting capability, a leading client, has a vacancy for a Business Analyst - MI. The focus of this role is supporting BAU use of the assets/MIS that have been implemented and increasing the strength in depth of IT to better support my client's Intelligence (BI) teams across Europe. You will be the vital link between our third-party support provider and the wider business community. Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst - MI and Planning, this role has particular responsibility for supporting existing BI systems and interfaces across the business. Responsibilities: Providing excellent support to the business in the day to day running of the operational business systems across reporting and analytics applications Conducting detailed investigations and analysis of business issues and requirements Ensuring process and system integrity always within a SOX environment Identifying opportunities for the business to simplify and standardise and create business advantage through both process and system improvements Managing all BI change requests and ensuring all procedures related to identification, changes, testing, documentation and communication of any modification to the system are followed, working closing with our third-party support provider Refine requirements and validating estimates from our third-party support provider for value, cost and dependencies Ensuring business capability to operate the solution effectively with minimal impact on business operations Manage relationships with key Stakeholders in the business and the outsourced Suppliers in order to add significant value in optimising technology's effectiveness and contributing to the success of this thriving and dynamic FMCG environment Essential requirements: Graduate Calibre SAP BW 7.4 experience Strong analytical skills, coupled with knowledge of how BI applications can maximise business advantage Strong experience of working with enterprise data warehouses and processes gained in an end user (ideally FMCG), consultancy or vendor environment.
