Our client is looking to expand their Engineering team in the South and are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Technical Engineer . You will join them on a full time, permanent basis working Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. In return you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits. Benefits you’ll receive as their Technical Engineer: - Pension Scheme - Life and Accident Insurance - Medical Cash Plan - 23 days holiday rising to 27days - Sky Benefits - Birthday holiday - Cycle to Work - Employee Assistance Programme and company vehicle The Technical Engineer role involves: - Providing technical assistance (via the telephone) to end clients - Providing technical assistance (Via the telephone) to the service engineering staff - Providing technical support (site based) to the end client - Providing technical support (site based) to the service engineering staff - Commissioning of PABX systems (Essential) - Commissioning of IT Networks (Essential) - Commissioning of CCTV systems - Commissioning of Access Control/Door Entry systems - Commissioning of Dispersed Alarm systems - Commissioning of Intruder Alarm systems - Completing the project within the time frame provided - Ensure that the client is satisfied with the commissioning of the system prior to leaving site - Carry out consultations and system demonstrations to the end client - Accurate completion of documentation - Provide a premium service to clients at all times - Working to safe health and safety practices at all times. Key Experience/qualifications: - You will need to have a high level of experience of PABX systems and Networking - You will be a team player with ambition - Communicate and build successful working relationships with clients and other employees - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Full UK Driving Licence Qualities required: - A Positive, self-motivated proactive individual - A flexible attitude to working hours - Ability to operate effectively under pressure to rapidly changing circumstances. - Good communication skills with the ability to build successful working relationships with customers and colleagues - Be well organised and have self-discipline - Have the desire to learn and continually improve your knowledge.
