Modelling Engineer - Complex Simulation - Cambridge Are you a simulation and mathematical modelling expert looking for a new challenge? We are working with a leader of innovation and ingenuity in Cambridge who are looking for a COMSOL specialist. This company are at the forefront of innovation and invest heavily in research and development. The products you will work on will be ground-breaking technology with the aim at disrupting markets. This hands-on R&D role will be mainly focused on developing sophisticated algorithms and models to simulate a multitude of situations and factors to test performance and reliability of the company's products, throughout the development and R&D pipeline. This will include utilising your experience to solve real-world engineering problems. For more senior candidates the position can also include project management responsibilities. You will be working in world-class labs alongside multidisciplinary engineers and scientists all aiming to innovate and invent. To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have solid background in developing mathematical models and simulations as well as some knowledge of either fluidics, thermodynamics, optics or electromagnetics. This will be coupled with a strong academic record in either physics, engineering of mathematics. In terms of software experience ideally you will need significant experience with COMSOL.
