Overview
Cathedral Appointments are currently seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our client’s well-established manufacturing business near Tiverton. Working in a multi-disciplined team, your role will be to produce fantastic new technology in a position that will use your skills throughout all stages of the product development lifecycle. To be successful in this role you will need to have previous electronics engineering experience with a degree in electronic engineering or a similar discipline. Experience in high voltage electronics, lean manufacturing, LabVIEW or MATLAB would be beneficial but is not essential. Responsibilities: Cutting edge electronics design Working alongside R&D Engineers and CEMs to prototype and ultimately manufacture Development, verification and qualification of electronic designs Aiding with mechanical and software elements where possible Design and fabrication of testing equipment for use in product development Continuous improvement for existing products Requirements: Experience as an Electronics Engineer A degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline Ideally experience in high voltage electronics, lean manufacturing, LabVIEW or MATLAB Experienced in product compliance and component selection Product design and DFM experience An excellent communicator with the ability to write clear and comprehensive reports This role will pay a competitive salary and is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company with a fantastic reputation.
