Overview
Alexander Lloyd are currently supporting a global business within London who have had rapid growth over the last few years, as they continue to invest within their Procurement function. We are looking to appoint Procurement Specialist (Senior Buyer), supporting the Procurement Director on a permanent basis. Your duties will include: Build a strong a collaborative partnership with key stakeholders as you look to mitigate risks, add commercial value and provide recommendations Supporting the business on contractual negotiations Supporting the Procurement Director, working on ad hoc projects, from new bids, through to implementation of governance, framework and robust processes Supporting and advising on internal processes with the wider business, influencing outcome and mitigating risks Conduct detailed supplier, spend and contract analysis, reporting and data capture The successful candidate will need to have a proven ability to work within a fast paced environment, where you have been involved in end to end procurement activity, implemented processes and policies too. We are looking for someone who can manage several projects at the same time, with the gravitas to work with senior stakeholders, but comfortable in the hands on element due to the size of the procurement strategic function. In return the successful candidate will be offered a salary of £40,000-£50,000 plus bonus and benefits.
