Overview
Wind Turbine Integrity Engineer needed to provide support to our clients Wind Farm Assets in the UK. The central purpose of the role will be to monitor the Structural and Mechanical integrity of the Wind Turbines and their foundations, including analysing the condition of the turbines to maximise their productivity and life expectancy. You will be the main point of contact for mechanical and structural support and potential on-site issues. A proven ability to absorb relevant information and provide solutions to rectify problems is essential. The ideal candidate will have similar experience working for a Wind Turbine O&M or Consultancy company, however applicants with relevant experience from a similar industry, such as Oil & Gass or Nuclear, will also be considered. Candidates must have a master's degree in mechanical engineering and ideally a Chartership with IMechE, however the client is willing to consider candidates working towards the latter. The role will be based in the clients Edinburgh office, with occasional travel to UK sites, so candidates must live within commutable distance of Edinburgh.
