Overview

We are looking for established C++ Software Engineers for a client based in the Edinburgh area. Our client is seeking applicants from 3 to 5 years (for more senior roles) of software engineering experience and a solid background in C++ (Windows) development ( (ideally version C++11 ) with OO and design pattern skills. The successful applicants will design and develop new features to our clients already cutting edge software products. You will have the opportunity work on a variety of projects and technologies including UI design, network comms etc and all aspects of development lifecycle including scoping and estimation through to testing and bug fixing. More senior engineers will have the chance to help mentor other engineers. Knowledge or interest in any of the following: Windows application development STL, MFC, BCGSoft, Boost Network communication protocols e.g. SOAP, HTTP, ONVIF, REST, Agile development experience Software security practicesThe client is an established and growing organisation that offers career growth within a stable and secure job.
