For: Pressure Gage Helpdesk Meyer Scott Ref: VR/07891 Location: St Neots, £20 - £25K per annum Hours: 36.5 hours a week. 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, Finishing at 4pm on a Friday Immediate Start Our client are a family run business with offices in the UK and Ireland. They are a precision engineering manufacturing company with a UK based factory. Products cover a wide range of applications including Pressure, Temperature, Calibrators, Process Control and Electronic. Their customers are based in Europe, USA, Asia and Australia. They are looking for an additional member to join their team to work out of their St. Neots premises in Cambridgeshire. The role has come about as a result of a member of the team retiring after 35 years - ideally you would receive a handover/training. Perhaps you have worked within the shop floor/in the field and now wish to work in an office but use those skills to advise other via email and over the telephone. The technical support team, very much office based you will be responsible for: Incoming technical enquiries Quotations Customer support and assistance Occasional customer visits General team duties related to a technical support office You will join our dedicated team providing first class customer service and will support our field based technical team. Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Our successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years practical engineering experience working in heating engineering with pressure gages. With this knowledge you would be a real asset in offering support to clients over the telephone. Excellent commercial understanding; Excellent phone communication; Excellent IT knowledge (Microsoft® Office, CRM, etc.); Positive technical sales approach; Dedicated team player striving for continuous improvement.
