L&D Manager- 6 Month Contact- Up to £58k Your new company I am currently recruiting for a large public-sector organisation that provide services across the north west. Due to recent transformation project, my client has developed an exciting new role for an experience d L&D manager to join the company initially on a contract basis based in their Bolton site. Although this is a contract role, there will be a permanent opportunity and the successful candidate will help shape this role Your new role Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Organisational Development, you will take a lead on driving on providing a learning & Development service to the organisation. You will initially focus on implementing a new leadership & management programme across the business, will work closely with the middle management & senior leadership team to influence and drive the project across the business ensuring everyone is effectively engaged. You will also be responsible for a small L&D team of 4 and lead the L& D strategy. My client will look at part time or condensed hours for the right candidate. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate must have substantial experience of working within an L&D/OD function, and a passion for leading innovative learning & organisational development initiatives. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker who can explore innovative ways of developing learning materials to specific needs. You must have experience of rolling out an L&D strategy across a large business and be able to influence key stakeholders.
