Payroll Clerk/ Accounts Assistant Location: Bolton Salary: Up to 25K 12 month contract with a strong view of the role being made permanent Our client are a highly progressive business based in Bolton. We have worked with this business for a number of years and know they are a great employer to work for. They are currently experiencing high growth and are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their Finance team on 12 month contract with a strong possibility of the role being made permanent. To be considered for this role you MUST have end to end Payroll experience. Role: End to end payroll for approximately 200 employees Processing the Payroll for salaried and hourly paid employees Checking the information collated for the Payroll is correct and investigating any discrepancies Liaising with HMRC, submitting stats and following procedures Dealing with new starters and leavers on the payroll system Reconciling employee payment and deductions Resolving queries in a timely manner Bank reconciliations Purchase Ledger duties - inputting, processing, matching and coding Purchase invoices Raising sales invoices Assisting with month end Essential Requirements: Have at least 3 years Payroll experience Experience with end to end Payroll SAGE50 Payroll experience desirable Able to work in a fast paced environment If you are interested in this role please send your CV to for immediate consideration.
