Theatre Practitioner Birmingham Up to £30,000 This is a FULL-TIME position My client is one of the UK’s leading cosmetic surgery and weight loss surgery provider, with a number of hospitals and clinics up and down the country, providing an excellent, personalised service to their clients. They are now expanding and looking for a Theatre Practitioner to join them in their Birmingham hospital Key Responsibilities Assisting the Theatre Manager to ensure the smooth running of the theatre Preparing for operations by ensuring that all necessary equipment is laid out in preparation and preparing the anaesthetic Working and assisting with the consultant in whichever practice you are specialising in Ensuring high standards are maintained and encouraged within the nursing team Always maintaining a patient-centred approach to every aspect of your work, ensuring the inclusion of the patient, carers and members of the multi-disciplinary team in care decisions Requirements Must be a registered nurse or ODP Have Scrub experience Have leadership experience Must be flexible to work weekends and evenings due to working on a rota basis Have relevant qualifications Benefits My client offers a range of benfits including; statutory sick pay, pension scheme, 25 days annual leave, overtime bonus scheme with an enhanced rate
