Overview
TLTP are currently working with a Secondary school in Thurrock that are recruiting for an English Teacher to join them in a permanent role starting in September. As the new English Teacher, your duties will include but will not be limited to the following; You will need to have an in-depth knowledge of the English national curriculum and be comfortable at delivering lessons to key stages 3 through 5. As the new English Teacher, you will be communicating on a regularly with parents and carers on their child’s progress within your classes. You must keep an up to date record on all student’s progress throughout the academic year. You will also be required to use various teaching resources to help you provide the best possible lessons. You will be required to go through appropriate training in line with school and departmental priorities. The successful English Teacher will have the following Qualifications/Experience; You must have an English Language or Literature related degree with the relevant teaching qualification e.g. PGCE or QTS You will need to have strong management skills of students. You must have a clear understanding of the UK national curriculum.
