Sustainability Manager London Competitive Starting Salary Benefits Ref: SH955 We at Penguin Recruitment are currently working alongside one of the UK's leading commercial real estate firms, with offices based throughout the UK, as they are looking to add an experienced Sustainability Manager to join their industry-leading Sustainability Team. The successful candidate should have an encompassing knowledge of sustainability, CSR, and wider social, environmental and governance issues within the built environment, including Zero Net Carbon, ESG Strategy, Environmental management, sustainable procurement and environmental compliance. As the new Sustainability Manager, you will be entrusted with a number of ranged duties and responsibilities, including: Driving the Sustainability Strategy development and implementation Zero Net Carbon across the company Champion sustainability throughout the business Setting objectives, targets and driving the implementation of action plans throughout the company Attending, charing and driving the CSR Committee Steering Group Widen the client base through championing a shared ethos on ESG across the business To be considered for this Sustainability Manager position, you will ideally: Have strong technical knowledge of Sustainability/Environmental Management/Environmental Legislation/Environmental Science/Energy Management/Health and Well-being Have experience of applying sustainability within the property sector - preferable 8 years' minimum Hold an MSc or MEng in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Energy Management, Sustainability or equivalent.
