Food Production Assistant

Then this is the job for you We are looking for an accurate systematic and driven Food Production Assistant to join an organic farm in the Cotswolds. Monday to Friday 8 hours per day between 5am and 5pm 40 hours per week £8.50 per hour The duties of our Food Production Assistant will be: To produce all products professionally, timely and as per company specifications. To adhere to the organic standards as set out by the Soil Association. Weighing, preparing and measuring ingredients ready for production. To complete all tasks safely and efficiently within the time-frame given to ensure that all daily orders are completed above the required fulfilment rate. To minimise wastage levels as much as possible. To aid the Production Unit Manager in the fulfilment of the production unit's annual financial/budgetary targets. Our Food Production Assistant will need: To be able weigh and measure accuracy to adhere to specifications. Energy . To keep motivated in order to hit targets. Excellent communication. To be able to collaborate with other team members to make sure all tasks are completed efficiently. A passion for organic produce and an environmentally conscious person would suit this role. Previous food production experience is preferred. Due to rural location own transport is required.
