Overview
My established client are a strong technical team that provides IT solutions to business and education in the North West and are a Microsoft Gold Partner and HP Silver partner and the solutions they deliver are centered around the product offerings of these vendors. They are currently looking to recruit for a 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to be based in Frodsham and Warrington). You will be involved in: Performing 1st/2nd Line support duties on both helpdesk and in the field. Configuring new desktop machines and provide fixes for problem machines Install desktop machines and peripherals. Basic server administration. Occasional need to work outside of office hours. Key Technical skills: Advanced level support for desktop PCs/Laptops. Some Windows Server Knowledge preferred. Basic networking skills inc switching, wireless and firewalls. Knowledge of Active Directory. Personal Skills: Hard Working Enthusiastic Team player Dependable Good effective communicator Excellent customer service skills Driving License Required Immediate starts available.
