Overview
THE JOB · £30,000 PA. · Permanent position. · Based in the Barnsley area, but will require frequent travel across the UK. · Carry out planned and preventative maintenance, and other service activities on the company’s range of products. This requires you to follow logical and systematic steps to test equipment and diagnose any potential or existing faults, while working in a safe and cost-effective manner. · Recommend repairs and improvements to the customer and provide quotations on prospective work. THE PERSON · Must have a driving license. · Awareness of health & safety procedures is essential. · Previous experience with electrical fault finding would be advantageous. · Previous mechanical experience is a necessity. · The ideal candidate will have previous general fitting experience. · Must be able to work on own initiative. · Will be able to work effectively as an individual or as part of a team. WORKING HOURS Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 16:00 BENEFITS & REWARDS · Meals and hotels paid for when working away. · Company van (after probation period). · Work phone. · 28 days holiday including stats.
