Overview
Are you a dedicated and driven Service Engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for driving professional service? Due to continued growth and success, we’re now looking for a Service Engineer to join our team in Barnsley. Service Engineer Responsibilities: To be responsible for the service and repair of robotic machinery and cameras as well as the routine maintenance of equipment, machinery and the plant. The role will also involve working as part of the wider Operations team in the assembly and manufacture of company products for the water rehabilitation and CIPP industry. Basic troubleshooting, maintenance, service and repair of designated equipment - including robotic and remote crawlers / cameras used for sewer and water infrastructure inspection and repair. Travel to customer sites etc as company needs dictate - both domestic and international. Plant maintenance and upkeep of schedules and records, repairs, modifications, lighting, emergency light checks, factory maintenance and preventative maintenance. Effective manufacture, assembly and packing of all current and future company products to a high standard. Ensure quality within the manufacture and assembly of company products. Assist in improving all processes - purchasing, production, goods in, despatch, logistics. Maintain a safe and clean working environment / general housekeeping. Provide support to the team. Participate and embrace training and to attend team meetings. The ideal Service Engineer Recent electrical and mechanical (maintenance) experience (with relevant qualifications) Good eye for detail Ability to follow manufacturer and company instructions / procedures Strong communication skills.
