Overview
Field Radio Engineer London South (covering SE England) Our client, an expanding Two-Way Radio Company is looking for a ‘Field Engineer’ to cover the South East of England. Located at our clients South London office, the candidate will bolster an existing team who are responsible for a growing area of responsibility. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the requirement will be to: install, maintain and upgrade radio & alarm systems using, primarily, WiFi. You will therefore be required to understand IP protocol. RF knowledge is important, however, if this is not familiar, the topic can be taught whilst in the role. A vehicle is provided per job from the head office. The role is Mon – Fri during working hours. In the unlikely event of an out-of-hours task, time off, in lieu, is granted. Required Experience: Radio Engineer Motorola/Hytera tier 2 programming experience. IP & IT Knowledge Electronics engineering Full Driving Licence Desirable Experience: Field Radio Engineer system installation Radio frequency (RF) knowledge (can be taught in situ) Package on offer: Salary £35K- £40K DoE 28 days holidays including Bank Holidays, pool vehicle for taskings This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89692046
