We are seeking a Principal Integration Engineer for a permanent position based in our Fareham location with travel to other locations. How you will make a difference The Principal Integration Engineer role will support the integration, test and acceptance of mission systems components, including mission computers, sensors (such as SAR/GMTI and EO/IR), and datalink and communications systems onto the concept demonstrator aircraft and ground control subsystem. Responsibilities will also include; To support the overall system architecture design team in selection of mission system equipment and its integration within the overall system solution. Support the development of the test and integration planning for the mission systems aspects of the overall system solution. Support the planning, design and execution of the trials and demonstration of the aircraft concept demonstrator programme. You should have a proven track record of integration of mission management and avionics subsystems onto military aircraft, including execution of test and acceptance programmes. It is desirable that candidates have knowledge and experience of operation, test and integration of the following: Mission Control Equipment Encryption equipment Tactical Data Links, such as Link 16 and Common Data Link (CDL) Airborne Radios Aircraft antenna systems Airborne sensors such as SAR/GMTI, ESM/EA, EO/IR, AESA Radar Airborne weapon systems Additional information for your consideration You will need to be able to hold and maintain UK Government clearances Being a part of Northrop Grumman gives you the opportunity to use your skills to make a difference in our mission of enabling global security.
