Overview

TSRN are working with a leading Compliance company who are looking for an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their team. This is a stand-alone role, so the successful candidate has to be confident in all versed IT systems including, Windows Server, Windows 8.1 and 10 MS Office Suites, Wireless, Networking, Network Printers, VOIP telephone systems, stock management and cabling. Day to Day duties may involve: To provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to troubleshoot and resolving both hardware and software issues To build, configuring and deploying workstations and servers including operating systems. To support the network equipment including routers Supporting Head office and Field based employees with Windows and application issues. To support the mobile devices infrastructure and VOIP (telephone) system. To support the ‘Managed Print ’ solution with third party supplier. Administration of Active Directory services: user account setup /disablement, Organizational Units, Groups, permissions Asset management – Hardware maintenance and monitoring To maintain current knowledge of disaster recovery plans and executables. Proactively and effectively communicating status, plan-of-action, and resolution of issues You will also need to process excellent communication skills and strong trouble shooting capabilities in Microsoft Windows and applications as well as experience with remote users The successful candidate will have: Previous hand on IT Support experience BS Degree in information systems or computer Science Qualification or other technical field Previous experience in supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 8.1 and 10, Enterprise OS and associated applications on desktop and laptop platforms in a corporate environment To be able to demonstrate the ability to support issues within an Active Directory integrated environment. To be able to demonstrate excellent day-to-day ticket management through the use of an IT ticketing system, includes regularly updating work logs. Experienced in supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Office suite of applications.
