Overview
A new vacancy has arisen for a Liability Underwriter within this expanding service provider to the independent broker market. You will take responsibility for a panel of intermediaries and deal with enquiries by telephone, correspondence and sometimes in person. To be responsible for risk selection, underwriting, administration and servicing of new business and the renewal of existing cases. You will provide quotations with regards to employer, public liability and professional indemnity risks. Additionally you will undertake renewal reviews, applying terms as necessary and instruct surveyors on larger and more complex risks. Additionally you will help and encourage the broker to attain their growth incentive targets and also have involvement in some new product launches. Applicants applying for this vacancy must have relevant liability underwriting experience. You will be well organised and have excellent communication skills. Preferably ACII qualified or making progress towards relevant professional qualifications. First class opportunity to develop into a challenging and autonomous role.
