Job Role: Nuclear Safety Engineers Type: Contract Location: Devonport, Plymouth Rate: £50-60 p/h Duration: 12 months (likely extension) Nuclear Safety Case Engineer contract roles based at Devonport dockyard in Plymouth. Candidates form both a civil and defence/naval nuclear background will be considered. The role will entail providing nuclear safety advice at various stages of project lifecycles from design, through to in-service support and decommissioning. Due to the amount of work in the pipeline these roles will be long term. Typical documents produced will include: - (Note experience in some not all of the below is required)… Hazard identification studies i.e. HAZOP. Hazard Analysis (HAZAN). Fault identification studies i.e. FMEA / FMECA. Fault tree / event tree anlysis. Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA). Deterministic Safety Assessment (DSA). Support to engineering substantiation studies. Safety Case Management. ALARP demonstration.
