Overview
The Bridge IT has an opportunity for an opensource lover in DevOps for a position with a technology company in Newcastle who has a keen interest in infrastructure with a background in opensource tools. You will be the link between the operations and development teams, providing expertise on the management, maintenance and support of IT infrastructure on whichever project you are tasked with. If you have experience with automating processes, continuous integration systems and application release then the opportunity to work with my client may be ideal for you. If you are interested please consider the following requirements of the role: Candidates should be able to show the following skills and experience AWS including the administering and provisioning of EC2 instances and other AWS SaaS. Setting up build pipelines using Jenkins, Gitlab CI or similar. S ource control - Git, SVN, TFS or similar. Ansible/Terraform. Experience of scripting with Python, Powershell, Bash etc. Automation of common admin and developer tasks The provisioning of alerting and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Datadog etc A strong commitment to DevOps principles.
