Insurance Technician, City, handling Non-Marine risks working for a Lloyd's Broker, salary up to £50K Your new company Your new job working as an Insurance Technician, will be working for a privately owned established and growing Lloyd's Broker, based in the heart of the City. Your new Brokers pride themselves on providing bespoke solutions in the following lines of business: Property, Cyber, Professional and Financial Lines, Marine Stock Throughput, Terrorism, and Active Assailant, with additional product offerings. Due to expansion a permanent job for an Insurance Technician handling international cross-class Non-Marine risks. Your new role Your new job working as an Insurance Technician, where you will be responsible for a full Technical role; everything from the production of Technical documentation (MRC Slips, Endorsements), all premium and bordereaux processing and chasing of unallocated cash. Your daily duties will include; Refer to and analyse slips, endorsements, binding authorities and policy wordings, dealing with the administration and management of submissions to the bureau and processing of premiums across numerous databases. As one of the more Senior Insurance Technicians, you will review and respond to XIS queries on Lineslip, open market entries and Binding Authorities as well as, create and amend premium Bordereaux's. You will be responsible for dealing with premium and technical queries on key classes of business such as Liability, EL, Med Mal, and all risks. You will be responsible for supporting the Brokers on their books of business, liaising with clients to ensure their demands are met promptly and efficiently and Maintain and grow relationships with producing brokers. Other duties will include; handling Open Market and Binding Authority risks, producing and processing all technical documentation including; Endorsements, MRC Slips, Credit and Debit notes and assist underwriters with any queries they put forward. What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience of working in a Lloyd's/London Market technical role, including the handling of complex Non-Marine risks is essential. You will ideally have a very strong and profound knowledge of; Producing and processing technical documentation including; MRC Slips, Endorsements, Presentations, Credit / Debit notes and dealing with all aspects of Xchanging. You need to be technically astute and be confident in your ability to liaise and managing client needs - be accurate and timely when it comes to producing all technical documentation. You will be required to have strong computer skills (ideally Sequel, Brokersure or Global XB) and aptitude to learn bespoke packages, attention and have a good eye for detail are essential. Ideally you will have experience of working as an Insurance technician at a Lloyd's Brokers within a Technical facet and understand how to process all related Technical documentation. This role would suit a Senior Insurance Broker Support Technician, who is keen to progress within a growing Lloyd's Brokers in the City.
