Senior Software Engineer - Permanent Cheltenham We are working with our UK based key account who have a brand new vacancy for a Senior Software Engineer to work from their office based in the Cheltenham area on a Full Time, Permanent basis. Our client is a reputable, national organisation in the aviation industry. Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the design and development of real-time embedded software. You will provide technical guidance and mentoring to more junior personnel supporting the assigned project. You will be working on state of the art military projects. You will be responsible for providing timely communications on significant issues or developments. Senior Software Engineer Requirements: Significant commercial experience of designing and implementing real-time embedded software. Hands on experience of working a software lifecycle in a high reliability or safety industry, preferably using a V-lifecycle. Degree or equivalent level of knowledge of experience. Experience of C and/or Assembly code. Experience of target hardware e.g. C167, C269, PowerPC, Colfire, PIC, Micocontroller, TMS320. Are you the Senior Software Engineer we have been looking for?
