DESCRIPTION/ JOB PURPOSE The Enterprise Risk Analyst is part of the Global Enterprise Risk Management team with specific responsibilities within ICE Futures Europe, and other ICE entities as appropriate, including the parent company. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with the operation of each entities risk framework including providing robust and accurate risk information relating to; risk appetite, oversight metrics and ongoing reporting as part of the second line of defense. The second line of defense risk function provides the framework for identifying, assessing and ensuring appropriate transparency around risk information is in place. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assisting with risk identification, management, monitoring, reporting: Acting as an expert sounding board for the business on risk related matters, whilst providing appropriate challenge to first line risk management functions where necessary Providing robust research and analysis into the risk appetite refresh process, including analysis to support the setting of risk appetite statements and limits Working with senior ERM staff to produce reports that measure the risk levels within the first line in relation to predefined limits escalating any major risks and concerns in a timely manner Contributing to risk identification on an ongoing basis, including providing views on new risks Supporting the ongoing operation of the Management Thresholds and reporting of Operational Risk Assessment ("ORA") Production of risk reporting for relevant stakeholders Senior Management, Regulators and Board committees. Supporting the ongoing maintenance of the Risk Register including incident and root cause analysis Tracking open actions and their remediation Maintaining policy and framework documents version control and ensuring the governance processes are adhered to Contributing to the identification and analysis of emerging macro-economic risks that could impact the business Providing any ad hoc support or assistance to other roles across the Enterprise Risk Management team as deemed necessary PERSON SPECIFICATION Bachelor's degree in an analytical subject Entrepreneurial/Self-starter with a desire to assess and improve existing processes Critical thinker with the ability to challenge existing thinking Eagerness to learn and develop an understanding of financial markets and risk management Excellent numerical and analytical skills Knowledge of data analysis tools - ability to demonstrate advanced skills in Excel and other relevant data visualization tools The capacity to develop and document procedures and workflows The ability to carry out data quality control, validation and linkage Experience of working statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques Ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualizations Maturity and self-awareness, ability to listen actively, to build strong relationships and influence at all levels and to create a demand for your expertise CORE COMPETENCIES Competencies are the skills and behaviors that are critical both to your personal performance and to ICE's continued success.
