£62,000 - £65,000 (negotiable) Bonus Car or Car Allowance Private Medical Pension Excellent remuneration benefits and package LOCATION: This position is based in the West Midlands PERFECT CANDIDATE BACKGROUND: Degree qualified Senior Engineering Project Manager or Engineering Manager who has proven experience managing a team of product engineers, projects engineers or design engineers who are tasked with developing mechatronic, electronic or similar industrial systems. This role is not suitable for plant engineering or maintenance managers. Any knowledge of industrial printing or similar technologies would be advantageous. THE ROLE: Working for one of the UK's leading engineering, mechatronic and special purpose equipment manufacturers, as the Engineering Manager based from the UK Headquarters in the West Midlands, you will lead a team of 20 - 25 project engineers, product engineers and project managers to develop and manufacture state of the art mechatronic related systems and machines used in a wide variety of industries across the world. You will need to be an engineering manager who has lead project teams so it is essential that you come from a project engineering, product engineering or similar project focussed background. This role is not relevant for maintenance or engineering plant performance; it is focussed on developing engineering solutions to produce industry leading products for customers. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Essentially you will have a degree within engineering or manufacturing and be a proven engineering manager who can demonstrate a successful background in leading a team of project engineers, design engineers and project managers. Ideally we are looking for candidates to live in the West Midlands but a relocation package is on offer for candidates looking to move to the region. Candidates who have been senior project managers or engineering managers within companies involved with mechatronic, electronic, technology biased production will be of particular interest.
