Job Title: Project Manager Type: Permanent Location: Manchester Salary: £48,000 – £50,000 Generous Company Benefits The Company My Client is a principal contracting company who undertake Civil Engineering, Highways and Earthworks The company is currently growing year on year and has recently taken on multiple Civils & Earthworks projects throughout the North West. They have a friendly and personable team, have been trading many years and have low staff attrition. Due to new projects my Client are now looking for a new Site Manager/Agent to work across various sites in & around Manchester on Earthworks & Infrastructure projects. . The Role The Project Manager will have previous experience of large Civils Infrastructure & Highways including Surfacing, Local Authority Contracts & New Road builds and have a major focus on site delivery. The Site Project Manager will be responsible for the management of the construction site especially multiple various subcontractors in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers’ objectives. The Site Project Manager will also be responsible for maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control on their particular delivery section. Ideally this role would suit an ambitious, driven individual whom embraces the challenge of working within a high performing team who would like to quickly progress further within a contracting business. The Candidate Suitably Qualified by Experience First Aid SMSTS CSCS Card Appointed Person – Lifting Operations – Ideal but not essential. Engineering Background and previous work history working as a Site Engineer/Agent within a Subcontractor Environment.
