We are looking for a front-end developer to join our growing team, based in our Bewdley, Worcestershire HQ. EdShed is a rapidly growing global ed-tech startup, which helps millions of children every year. Based in Worcestershire, our products include teaching resources, mobile apps, web games and a web-based teacher hub. EdShed, or Education Shed Ltd as our accountant calls us, is the umbrella for several educational products and brands. These include The Literacy Shed , Literacy Shed Plus , Spelling Shed and Maths Shed . We are a company run by teachers for teachers and we try to maintain particular values within all of our products: The best quality product we can create Making the most educational impact possible Transparent and affordable pricing The least hassle for teachers and schools Our core product is a game for children that helps them learn spelling and maths skills. That is available on the web and via mobile apps as well as being controlled by a teacher hub. This role will involve working across all of our front end web-sites and potentially on mobile so you will have an immediate impact on millions of children through your work. You will create user interfaces and code that are equally beautiful and will be opinionated about UX. We are based on Vue.js so some experience with this or other reactive JavaScript frameworks is advantageous but not necessarily a requirement. Equally, design skills are desirable but not essential.
