Overview
My client is a professional engineering consultancy providing their expertise UK wide. This multi-award winning company are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to be based in their Birmingham office. The successful Geotechnical Engineer will have a MEng/BEng or PhD in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 3 years experience in geotechnical engineering and design and a good understanding of Slope Stability Assessments, Retaining Wall Design and Deep Base Modelling. Additionally, the successful Geotechnical Engineer will be skilled in the use of specific computer software, geotechnical report writing and the preparation of design documents. This exciting role will involve the design delivery of geotechnical elements, preparation of fee budgets, proposals, calculations and drawings during the execution of projects. In addition, you will develop relationships between the company and new and existing clients.
