Overview
My Client, an international, market leading Consultancy based in central Cardiff is searching for a Principal Hydrologist to join their established Hydrological Team. It is essential that applicants have a BSc and/or MSc and in a relevant discipline (e.g. River Basin Dynamics, Hydrology or Engineering) and have vast experience working for an Environmental Consultancy or Local Authority completing Hydrological Assessments, Rainfall Analysis, Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Flood Estimation and Storm Water Management. It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally or be prepared to relocate to the local area. This exciting role will offer you the opportunity to join and expand a bespoke team of Hydrologists based in Cardiff. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to complete and manage Flood Risk, Surface Water, Drainage and Mining Projects for Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients. As a Senior Hydrologist you will be required to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Catchment Management Plans, Flood Estimation, Rainfall Analysis, Hydrological Assessments, Stormwater Management Plans, Storm Analysis, GIS Mapping and Drainage Strategy.
