Overview
Engineering Team Leader - Oxfordshire We are seeking an Engineering Leader to manage a multi-disciplined Engineering team developing customised technical hardware and software solutions. You will work with commercial teams to meet customers and assesses their requirements and develop hardware, embedded firmware and software solutions to meet the customer's needs. You will also provide follow up support and help. Duties and Responsibilities Manage the Engineering team, including setting objectives, managing performance, planning and organising workload, recruitment, and staff development. Liaise with commercial teams to meet customers, assess project requirements, provide project resource and cost estimations, select and prioritise projects and report progress and issues. Plan and manage projects within the Engineering team, coordinating input from R&D where required. This requires development of solutions using a full range of technologies including electronics, mechanical design, embedded firmware and application software. Liaise with operations teams to transfer new hardware designs into production. Write documentation, technical articles, and application notes for customers.
