Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and dependable Supervising Social Worker for our office in Dartford. The successful applicant will be working with foster carers and looked after children across Kent, hence willingness to travel and use of a car is essential. The successful candidate will be allocated to our office in Dartford, Kent. UK Fostering is a young and dynamic Fostering Agency and we have offices in the South East, the Midlands, the North West and the North East. We work hard to achieve positive and sustainable changes in children’s lives and support our foster families to a very high standard. The successful applicant has a passion for children and young people, excellent organisational skills, is able to meet deadlines, has excellent communication skills and the ability to analyse situations accurately. The job description includes the following aspects: • Supervision of pool of foster carers • Form F assessments and panel presentation • Monitoring and complying with all safeguarding aspects • Participation in all aspects of the organisation including supporting training for foster carers • Flexible working and out of hours support to carers Salary of up to £38K per annum, depending on skills and experience. The job requirement also include the relevant social work qualification, Social Work England registration and appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
