Overview

Are an Management Accountant looking for your next opportunity to grow your career. Can you see yourself working within a Global Media Group providing technology and distribution used by major media and entertainment companies. If so Walters People are excited to be working with global premium content creator that are offering an opportunity for a Management Accountant to work within a finance team of 10 people supporting the company's growth for a 12 month maternity cover in Central London. Reporting into the Vice President of International Finance you will be responsible for the management of an Accounts Assistant. You will be responsible for the accounting and analysis of content costs as well as demonstrate a deep understanding of royalty processes and full ownership of the month-end journal preparation. Key responsibilities: Full ownership of the month-end royalty journal preparation and uploads into SAP Generate and upload all license fee journals into the client's accounting system as well as the Parent Company's Reconciliation of all license fee accounts in the P&L and balance sheet in multi-currency and provide meaningful commentary on content costs Liaising with the Royalties team and the FP&A function Detailed variance analysis for monthly and quarterly reporting Business partnering to help improve the forecasts of costs and revenues Bring commercial visibility to content by analysing and sharing summary metrics to the management team and wider business Work with the FP&A function and Senior Finance to determine the impacts of new licence fee contracts and the profitability of proposed new sales contracts Manage the Accounts Assistant who is responsible for obtaining supplier invoice approvals and the month end accounting for the German subsidiary Support with ad-hoc reporting and projects as they arise, review contracts and assist with the annual statutory audit Key requirements: ACCA Finalist or Part Qualified Strong Excel skills at intermediate or advanced level Knowledge of SAP Previous management experience is an advantage If the above role matches your experience please reach out with your CV to contact
