Overview
Robert Half is exclusively partnering with a renowned FMCG business based in Cheltenham. My client is one of the leading names in their sector, with various operations across the globe. In order to maintain their recent success, they're looking for a Management Accountant to join them on a 9-month contract. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Senior Management Accountant will be working in a growing finance team and take full ownership for the management accounts for the group. You will be business partnering with stakeholders across the business and will be supporting them with the budgeting and forecasting process. You'll be comfortable working in a dynamic environment whilst being able to deliver against deadlines, to a high standard. You must have previous experience taking ownership for the P&L, balance sheet and month end and will ideally have experience working in an industry where you have had to deal with stock. The Role Preparation of monthly management accounts for head office and submission to the board. Assisting with the preparation of budget and forecasting including analysis of the UK quarterly results. Ownership of monthly and quarterly reporting and preparation of corporate entity accounts on an annual basis Assisting with the strategic business plan including supporting with commercial decision making Business partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders based in the UK and internationally Review current processes and improve upon them as necessary to ensure that controls are strong and month end is as efficient as possible You are ACCA / CIMA / ACA fully qualified Proactive, driven, resilient, and able to work under your own initiative Competent and comfortable with using finance systems For more information, please call Sarah Glover on.
