Overview

Our client is a well-established organisation, based in the London area, who is seeking to recruit a Senior QA officer with 4-5 years’ experience in documentation review, ideally within pharmaceutical or healthcare, sectors. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in chemistry, pharmacy, life sciences or related discipline with experience in handling either quality complaints or OOS. The role involves: Responsibility for quality complaints and out of specifications, such as Logging, documenting and Keeping QP and quality committee informed, including KPIs QA batch review (pre-QP release) Coordinating with colleagues to ensure all batches required for release on any particular occasion are ready for the QP. Performing QA batch review of assigned product batches and shared workload batches Change control Initiating, performing and tracking internal change requests related to own areas as and when necessary. Performing, documenting and follow-up on change control actions (post variation) for products assigned Artwork control Coordinating artwork proof approval and communication of approved artworks to contract manufacturers. Batch packing record master document review for contract manufacturers. Technical Agreements Performing periodic review of TAs and putting new TA’s in place as and when required. Back-up for assigned QMS areas - logging and handling as the back-up when person responsible for the QMS area is absent. Specific projects and any other QA tasks assigned by the Head of QA Experience implementing and using an electronic quality management system a plus. The Senior QA Officer is expected to have the following attributes: Self-motivation and ability to work independently and under pressure. The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing. The ability to liaise with clients on technical matters Have excellent attention to details as well as ability to multi-task. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
